Sunwa.AI is built on a simple promise: we will not pretend to be more certain than we are. This page explains, honestly, what our AI can and cannot do — please read it before you rely on anything the Service produces.

AI can make mistakes. Every draft, statutory section, citation, and computed date the Service produces must be verified against the official source before you rely on it, file it, or act on it. If something matters, check it — and when in doubt, ask a licensed advocate.

AI can err

Like all AI tools, Sunwa.AI can produce text that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. It can misread a document, miss an exception, or describe a provision that has since changed. Treat every output as a knowledgeable starting point that still needs a human check — not a final answer.

Verify before you rely

Before relying on anything from the Service, verify it against the authoritative source:

  • Sections — confirm the current, in-force text and that it applies to your facts, against the official gazette or India Code.
  • Citations and precedents — check each one against the official report, and consider that contrary authority may exist.
  • Dates and timelines — treat computed custody, limitation, or bail dates as candidate calculations to confirm against the governing provision and current case law.
  • Drafts — review every fact, name, figure, and clause before you sign, send, or file.

What “Verified by Sunwa.AI” means

We work hard not to invent the law. The Service checks statutory text and citations against primary sources before showing them to you, and it will tell you when something could not be verified rather than guess. The Supreme Court has made unverified AI citations a matter of professional misconduct, and our verification is built directly to answer that concern.

But verification reduces risk; it does not eliminate it.A source can itself be wrong, ambiguous, or superseded, and verification cannot judge whether a provision is the right one for your particular situation. The “Verified by Sunwa.AI” badge means we checked the reference — it does not replace your own reading and judgment.

For the public using the citizen tools

Nyay Saathi and the free public tools give guidance, not legal advice. They can help you understand a notice, spot a likely scam, and find real, free help — but they cannot represent you or replace a lawyer.
