Terms of Use

By using Sunwa.AI (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. They are written plainly and are informational; they may be updated as the service evolves.

1. What the Service is

Sunwa.AI is a voice-first legal information and drafting-assistance platform for Indian law. It looks up statute, replies to notices, drafts documents, analyses case files, checks citations, and helps manage matters — and it offers free citizen tools (Nyay Saathi) that give plain-language guidance to the public.

2. What the Service is not

Sunwa.AI is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create an advocate-client relationship with us or anyone. The citizen tools give information and guidance, not advice. All output is a draft or a starting point for your own judgment. For advice on your specific situation, consult a licensed advocate.

3. AI output must be verified

AI features can make mistakes, including inaccurate or incomplete text. Statutory sections, citations, suggested precedents, and computed dates are provided for your review and must be independently verified against the official source before you rely on them, file them, or advise anyone. See our AI Disclaimer for detail.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to:

  • use the Service only for lawful purposes;
  • if you are an advocate, comply with the Bar Council of India rules and your professional-conduct obligations;
  • have a lawful basis and any necessary consent before entering or uploading another person's data, including obtaining consent before recording any consultation;
  • review and verify all output before use; and
  • keep your login credentials secure and not misuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service.

5. Free and paid tiers

Sunwa.AI offers a permanently free citizen layer and free public tools, alongside paid plans for students, advocates, chambers, and firms. Features and usage limits depend on your tier; see the pricing page. Billing, renewal, and cancellation terms apply to paid plans, and limits or pricing may change with notice.

6. Your data and content

You retain ownership of the data and documents you provide, and you grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the Service. Drafts you generate are yours to use. The Service's software, design, and law-database compilation belong to us. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on AI output without verification; errors or omissions in statutory text, citations, or computed dates; missed deadlines; or any matter outcome. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or misuse of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your data per the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction.

10. Changes & contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Questions: chirag.malhotra90@gmail.com.
